Much of Arkansas’s water infrastructure is aging, and the cost of repairs is rising. Recent assessments found:
· About 21.4% of treated water is lost to leaks before it reaches customers.
· Roughly 1 in 5 Arkansans experienced a water service disruption in the past year.
· Many communities face rising water bills as systems age.
